Fall is right around the corner and we can’t wait for the cool weather, sweaters, changing leaves and pumpkin flavored everything. As the new season rolls into town, Tulsa comes alive with festivals, events and activities. This the Guide to Tulsa Fall Festivals 2016!

September Festivals and Events:

Rib Crib’s Rock ‘N Rib Festival

When: September 15-18, 2016
Where: BOK Center
What: Mark your calendars now for the 2016 Rib Crib’s Rock ’n Rib Festival in Downtown Tulsa. Four days of championship BBQ and live music are slated for this September on the streets outside BOK Center. Bring the entire family and join us for Oklahoma’s premiere celebration of award-winning ribs! BEST PART – ADMISSION IS FREE!

2016 Coweta Fall Festival

When: September 15-17, 2016
Where: City of Coweta
What: 42nd Annual Coweta Fall Festival has something for everyone. Carnival rides, entertainment, good ole’ fair food, pageants, car show, parades, talent shows, and so much more!

Rogers County Fair 5K and Fun Run

When: September 17, 2016
Where:  Claremore Expo Center
What: Join us for the first annual Fair 5k & Fun Run! The race will start and end at the Claremore Expo Center. Fun Run starts at 8:00 am; 5k will start at 8:30 am.

Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd’s Cross

When: September 22-November 5, 2016
Where: Shepherd’s Cross
What: As always, visits to the farm are donation based; no parking fee or admission fee. Suggested donation is $5 per person. Donation Based Activities Include: Pumpkin Patch, Farm Animal Barn – Petting Zoo area, Farm Museum & games, Pumpkin Stroll, and the Hay Maze.Plus Festive Fall Games including: Pumpkin Toss, Corn Cob Bowling, Pumpkin Pitch, Find the Pumpkin, Corn Cob Arrows & much more.

Where: Riverwalk Crossing, Jenks
What: Attendees are invited to bring their own pets to enjoy a day in the park filled with fun activities, music, and food in a pet-friendly atmosphere, but most importantly to adopt homeless pets from area animal rescues and shelters. The event brings together over 40 rescue organizations and animal shelters with a goal of over 100 pet adoptions. In addition to area rescue groups, attendees can vicist with local pet-related businesses including veterinarians, trainers, retailers, groomers, and doggy day care which will be on hand to talk with pet owners about how they can be of service. Pet owners also can take advantage of $20 microchipping from OAA and $25 animal communication sessions with Pam Case

McNellie’s Harvest Beer Festival

When: September 24, 2016
Where: 1st & Elgin
What: The 7th Annual Harvest Beer Festival presented by James E. McNellie’s is quickly approaching! Mark your calendar for September 24, and make plans to spend the day with us drinking some of the best craft brews available! The festival is held in beautiful downtown Tulsa right outside of McNellie’s.  Session 1: 12pm-3pm & Session 2: 5pm-8pm. Ticket Prices: $30 per session advance & $35 per session week of. You can purchase tickets online at beerfests.com or In store at McNellie’s Downtown or McNellie’s South City. Food will be available from McNellie’s, Fassler Hall and El Guapo’s.

Tulsa State Fair

When: September 29-October 9, 2016
Where: Tulsa Expo Square
What: The 2016 Tulsa State Fair is Thursday – Sunday, September 29 – October 9. The Tulsa State Fair Daily Attractions are full of fun and excitement for the whole family, and the best part is they are FREE with paid Gate Admission!  Featured events this year include: Dsney on ice:  Frozen; prca rodeo & concert series; Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show; OKlahoma State Picking & Fiddling Championships; Miss Tulsa State Fair Pageant; Fondant SCULPTOR Karen Portaleo; CULINARY STAGE; ASK A MASTER GARDENER and Giant Sand Sculpture.

Red, White and Brew Music Festival

When: September 24, 2016
Where: Main Street, Broken Arrow
What: The BA Buzz’s “Red, White & Brew” Craft Beer and Music Festival is in it’s second year and the first of it’s kind in Broken Arrow. Sample beers from the VIP Garden and great food!  100% of the ticket sales goes directly to Soldier’s Wish! Witness Wishes being granted from Soldier’s Wish through our generous sponsors at 7pm! Listen to live rockin music all day long. Plus there will be a Box Car parade! Enjoy fine cuisine from the many food trucks.  Make purchases from the many arts, crafts, and specialty food exhibitors. Enjoy the 37th Annual Green Country Mustang Club of Oklahoma car show with over 100 Mustangs! Stroll among the Festival Shops and purchase a one-of-a-kind gift from our arts and crafts exhibitors. Medieval Faire in Kiefer Park

When: September 30 – October 2, 2016
Where: Kiefer Park
What: Dress up! Come See! Food! Music and astounding performances by local artists! 35+ Vendors! Fun! Invite your friends and come play in the park! Admission is FREE. Parking is $2. Event Runs: Friday 9-30 10am to 630pm, Saturday 10-1 10am to 9pm, Sunday 10-2 10am to 430pm

Dead Guy Daze in Guthrie

When: Throughout October
Where: Downtown Guthrie
What: Dead Guy Daze is an array of events celebrating Halloween and fall throughout the month of October in Guthrie. Events include Art & GhostWalks, Bluegrass Festival, Guthrie Haunts haunted house, Evil Dead stage production, Paracon, Downtown Pub Crawl & Block Party.

Tulsa American Film Festival

When: October 12, 2016
Where: Circle Cinema
What: TAFFest returns with our 2nd Annual showcase of feature and short films from across these United States of America.  Join us for new independent works, with special focuses on Native American, Latino, Oklahoma-based, and student filmmakers; a curated lineup of regionally-relevant Classics; educational panels featuring professionals from across the industry; and fabulous parties each evening in celebration of the films on display.

Eat Street Food Truck Festival

When: October 15, 2016
Where: 2nd and Elgin
What: Join us on Saturday Oct. 15th from 11am to 10pm for the 5th annual Eat Street Tulsa food truck festival.  Tulsa’s best food trucks will be taking over the corner of 2nd and Elgin alongside a Kid Zone, live music and cold beer to provide a fun day outside for the entire family!

Wizard World Comic Con Tulsa

When: October 21, 2016
Where: COX Business Center
What: Check out hundreds of comics and collectibles in the Con’s marketplace and find great sketches, lithographs, and more in the Artists Alley. Meet comics legends, popular artists, and television celebrities like Sebastian Stan (Captain America), William Shatner (Star Trek), Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy), and many more. 

Owasso Harvest Festival & VFW Auto Show

When: October 29, 2016
Where: Rayola Park
What: The Owasso Harvest Festival & VFW Auto Show takes place at Rayola Park and is free and open to the public. Come have fun with family friendly activities including games, live music, a kiddie train and more. Kids will love getting their face painted and having a balloon artist make them a custom creation. The VFW Auto Show is a major part of the Harvest Festival welcoming car enthusiasts to put their hot rods on display. There will be rows of vintage, customized and classic cars to admire as well as motorcycles of all makes and models. In each class, plaques will be given to the top three cars, so hang around and root for your favorite.

Tulsa Spider Ball

When: October 29, 2016
Where: IDL Ballroom – 230 East First Street, Downtown Tulsa
What: The 8th Annual Spider Ball presented by Bacardi,  Saturday, October 29th 2016,  is a Halloween dance party with the best of the local DJ’s in three distinct clubs housed in the same building (Enso Bar, Electric Circus and IDL Ballroom). This unique 1,000 capacity facility gives the attendees three different entertainment atmospheres to enjoy. After a successful seven sold out Halloween parties, Spider Ball has become a premier Halloween party. With last attendance over 1,000+  and the buzz for this year, Spider Ball will sell out again! This is a costume ONLY party. No exceptions!
