The Philbrook Museum of Art

If you live in Tulsa or are visiting the Tulsa area, you can’t miss the Philbrook Museum of Art. It’s got rave reviews online and it’s not only an educational experience, it is also really fun. The museum itself is housed in an Italian style villa, the grounds themselves are a work of art. You can’t beat the staff, they’re always friendly, helpful, and fun. The Philbrook Museum of Art is topping the list at #1 on our 2017 Tulsa bucket list. Visit them at 2727 S Rockford Rd, Tulsa, OK 74114. They’re open Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10am-5pm (8pm on Thursday). It’s less than $10 for general admission and they offer discounts for seniors!

ONEOK Field

The ONEOK field is home to both Baseball and Soccer teams from March through September. This is a great family friendly location and you can enjoy special events, sports games, and more. If you love catching a game or having some fun outdoors this is a great options for your 2017 Tulsa bucket list. Admission and pricing depends on the sporting event or activity behind held at the field. One thing is for sure, you’ll have a blast with the whole family when you visit ONEOK Field. SMOKE. on Cherry Street

SMOKE on Cherry Street is located at 1542 E 15th St, Tulsa, OK 74120. They’re a contemporary restaurant serving up American cuisine. If you can’t tell from the name they’re pretty into the wood grilled and SMOKE flavors. They also have a great wine selection and a great list of cocktails! They decorate with local artwork and usually have live entertainment. You can make a reservation here. This would be a great date night location for that special someone you’ve been wanting to ask out…

Tulsa Zoo

The Tulsa Zoo is a must for the 2017 Tulsa bucket list. You can’t go wrong with a visit to the zoo! Located at 6421 E 36th St N, Tulsa, OK 74115 with admission ranging from $6-$10 this is a cheap way to experience the amazing animals, events, and rides within the Tulsa Zoo. Everyone can learn something while also having a blast! It’s amazing when there is such an awesome establishment so close at hand for Tulsa dwellers! Don’t let another year slip away without stopping by for a visit at the zoo. You can experience the entirety of the Tulsa Zoo in a few hours, stop by on a weekend or come by after the family is home from school!

Bodean

If you are a seafood fan you need to try Bodean this year! Add a trip to Bodean at 3376 E 51st St, Tulsa, OK 74135 to your 2017 Tulsa bucket list for some amazing fresh seafood from their onsite fish market. You can also catch some live jazz at one of their regular events with a great wine selection too boot. This is a rather upscale establishment but it’s not overly pricey. Take your date out for an incredible night at Bodean.

Tulsa Ballet

You might not know that at 4512 S Peoria Ave, Tulsa, OK 74105 the Tulsa Ballet graces the city with it’s grace and charm. You can take in a performance this year and class up your 2017 Tulsa bucket list. There are also classes available for those of you who might be considering learning something new this year! Not only is ballet a tough but beautiful art it is also an incredible workout. Cross two things off your resolution list this year at one time!

Yokozuna

Yokozuna is an awesome sushi location in Tulsa. You might not put Tulsa and delicious sushi in the same sentence but you are missing out if you haven’t checked out Yokozuna. Located at 309 E 2nd St, Tulsa, OK 74120 you can try a variety of Asian dishes like noodles, sushi and the whole location is very modern and hip. According to the rave reviews you can’t beat the happy hour menu. Stop by and make Yokozuna one of your 2017 Tulsa bucket list locations!

The Tulsa Air and Space Museum

Located at 3624 N 74th East Ave, Tulsa, OK 74115 is the Tulsa Air and Space Museum. Again, museums in Tulsa are top notch. You can learn something but chances are you will also have a darn good time doing so! The Tulsa Air and Space Museum is making the bucket list for a few reasons, and for one, it’s cheap! Just $10-$15 gets you access to the museum and the planetarium. Not only is the museum amazing, the planetarium is breathtaking. You can take in a show as part of your general admission. You can also pay an extra $5 and take a MD-80 virtual tour. The MD-80 flight theater is reason enough to visit the Tulsa Air and Space Museum. If you don’t do anything else, make sure you check out this awesome and interactive exhibit.

Tally’s Good Food Cafe

Make sure you click above to view their menu. This awesome Retro Route 66 diner is one of the best places to eat in Tulsa. If you haven’t checked it out yet make sure you add it to your 2017 Tulsa bucket list. It has great reviews online and it’s a fun atmosphere with great food. Make sure you plan accordingly as there is usually a wait for seating and service.

Burn Co Barbeque

Located at 1738 S Boston Ave, Tulsa, OK 74119, Bun Co. Barbeque is a hot spot in Tulsa for great BBQ! It’s nothing classy, nothing modern, and certainly nothing over the top but that doesn’t mean the food isn’t fantastic. You can get a variety of smoked meats, classic sides, and drinks all in a casual setting. There’s always a huge line so make sure you get there early before they run out!
