1. Enjoy a traditional meal of Corned Beef and Cabbage
Corned beef and cabbage has become synonymous with St. Patrick’s Day in America. While it is an Irish dish, it has taken on new life with rambunctious yearly celebrations of the holiday in the United States. When prepared correctly, it is a delicious meal that will get you feeling Irish, if only for a day.
You can also add a twist on the recipe by using Guinness beer to cook your meat and vegetables. Or try mashed potatoes with your meal.
2. Sip on something green
Green beer has become a St. Patrick’s Day favorite and it is easy to make at home. Be sure to use a light beer so the food coloring blends in without changing the flavor of your drink.
