From Tuesday to Saturday, anyone can visit Tulsa’s beloved mansion and see the famous gardens at the Tulsa Garden Center. The purpose of the center is to preserve the mansion, while also educating the public on the environment. If you are a book lover make sure to plan a visit to the library at the Tulsa Garden Center! Woody Guthrie Center

The Woody Guthrie Center is such an interesting part of Tulsa. If you’ve never been it’s definitely wroth a visit. The entire center is dedicated to the folk singer, who is known for his many hit songs, and is one of many famous Oklahomans. Woodward Park

Woodward Park is an excellent location for some summer activities around Tulsa. If you want a relaxing day while spending time around downtown Tulsa, the Woodward Park is right up your alley. Next door to the Tulsa Garden Center, Woodward Park is the destination for park bench watching, weddings, picnics and laidback entertainment. While the Garden Center has limits on hours, the park is open daily and is free to the public. The perfect spot for a picnic or some frisbee with the whole family.

Oklahoma Aquarium

This one is not quite IN Tulsa but it’s worth the trip. The Oklahoma Aquarium is a great spot to take the whole family for some fun and adventure. Tulsa Air and Space Museum and The Planetarium

A newer neighborhood in the city of Tulsa, it is a blossoming Mecca for food and coffee shops, boutiques, restaurants, specialty shops, and other forms of entertainment. It’s a great spot to take the kids and wander around for an afternoon!

The Escape Tulsa
